Case Study
MyChina Virtual Village is a Second Life island dedicated to learning Chinese. This site was primarly designed as a place to be get people interested in the MyChina program.
I wanted to try something different for this project. CASLS wanted a fun site with a lot of imagery. For the homepage I took advantage of CSS sprites and an odd table-based layout to achieve a rather unique finished product. The end result had the Second Life avatars “popping” out of the site.
